Located just east of the village of Gouverneur, the Gouverneur Country Club is located in the Town of Fowler. It was established in 1930 when B.O. Kinney, on behalf of the newly formed Gouverneur Country Club, finalized the purchase of the Manning farm at Hailesboro on June 25, 1930. The club officially opened in 1931.
The clubhouse, which was the original farm barn, was remodeled and officially opened on June 22, 1932. It has since had a number of major renovations to modernize the first floor Pro Shop and second floor restaurant, blending “tradition and progress.”
When arriving, patrons will enjoy the friendly greeting by our staff in our well-stocked Pro Shop. After golfing or just taking time off from a busy day, you can enjoy a casual meal or beverage in the second floor restaurant and marvel at the beauty of the course or the evening sunset.
